Server & System Requirements
Technical requirements for running WWA on your WordPress hosting environment.
Prerequisites & Requirements
- PHP 8.1 or higher
- WooCommerce 8.0+
- cURL & OpenSSL extensions enabled
Before installing WWA, verify that your web hosting server and WooCommerce installation satisfy the following technical prerequisites:
Hosting Environment Requirements
- PHP Version: PHP 8.1, 8.2, or 8.3 (PHP 8.2 recommended).
- WordPress Version: WordPress 6.2 or higher.
- WooCommerce Version: WooCommerce 8.0 or higher (compatible with HPOS custom order tables).
- PHP Extensions:
curl,json,mbstring,openssl. - SSL Certificate: Valid HTTPS certificate installed on your domain (required for Meta API Webhooks).
Meta / WhatsApp Account Requirements
- A Meta Business Account (verified or standard business account).
- A Meta Developer App configured for WhatsApp Business Cloud API.
- A clean, dedicated phone number capable of receiving SMS or voice verification codes.
